Procedure To Develop Lot

Zoning through the City involves Architect/Engineer/Surveyor preparing exhibits and paying City fees for submittal. This process usually goes before Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council for approval

 

Platting involves Architect/Engineer/Surveyor preparing exhibits and paying City fees for submittal. Also involves preparation of preliminary plans and elevations. Engineer must prepare survey, utility and drainage plans. Surveyor must provide topographical to engineer for drainage layout. This process usually involves approval from both Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council.

 

Engineer prepares plans for submittal to area utility contractors for bids. Contractors complete water, sewer and electrical.
