Steps to Starting Your New Home Construction

Lot Selection:
We help you select your lot, so we can determine what size home will fit on it.
Lot Reservation:
Place your non-refundable deposit down to hold your lot.
Mortgage Co:
Select a Mortgage Company: You may choose your own, however, we recommend Beverly Aleman with Metlife Home Loans, 1-877-286-7262 Office (toll free)
Home Design:
Make an appointment with our Designer / Architect. He will prepare a preliminary drawing of your home and will review the plans with you. You pay him directly for the plans, as we are not yet under contract at this time. When the contract is written, you will receive a credit against your down payment for your plans.
Meet with Builder:
Set up an appointment to review plans with the Builder. We will review your plans and go over the construction cost with you.
Process Contract:
Give Mortgage company a copy of your contract so they can supply a commitment letter stating that you qualify for your loan amount. Finalize your plans for the construction of your home. The Designer / Architect will send all sets of finalized plans to the builder. After receipt of your plans and commitment letter application will be made for your building permit.
Pre-Construction:
Set up pre-construction meeting with your Builder and Sales Manager to review your finalized plans before construction begins.
Home Selections:
The Decorator will meet with you to help with your home selections. She will contact you at the appropriate time. We have a Decorating Center where all of your selections can be viewed.
Deposits Required:
$2,000.00 for Lot Reservation
Mortgage Co. will need an Appraisal Fee and Credit Check Fee Depending on the type of loan you receive you may be required to put little or nothing down! Check with our Sales Manager, Peggy Maxfield for details.
