Construction Time Line

DeGuire Properties strives to create customer satisfaction through the entire building process. We have procedures in place to help make your homebuilding experience enjoyable from ground breaking to move-in. We have listed below our construction stages. This estimated stage timeline is outlined to help you understand our construction process.

Construction - Stage Timeline

1. Set foundation forms, rough plumbing and pour foundation.
   4 weeks
2. House is "in the dry". Framing is complete, roof is on and windows are installed. At this stage the client does a framing walk-through with the Project Manager to review the framing prior to sheetrock installation.
   3 weeks
3. Ready for sheetrock. The first phase of the HVAC and electrical systems have been installed as well as second phase of the plumbing system. Prior to installing insulation and sheetrock City inspections must be completed and passed.
   2 weeks
4. The exterior brick and/or stone will begin as well as wall and ceiling textures to your interior walls.
   2 weeks
5. The interior cabinetry, trim and doors have been completed as well as completion of the staircase (if applicable).
   1 week
6. The interior and exterior painting and staining have been completed.
   2 weeks
7. Countertops in the kitchen and baths have been installed as well as tile flooring and the tile back-splashes.
   1 week
8. Lights, appliances and plumbing fixtures are installed. The carpet flooring will also be installed.
   2 weeks
9. The final paint and final cleaning is completed. The exterior sprinkler system and landscaping is also completed. The project manager personally performs a thorough quality inspection and checklist.
   2 weeks
10. Homeowners orientation. The project Manager and the client review your new home and get it ready for move-in!
